How much will it cost?
When you make your appointment at Houston Health & Wellness we will send you an email with the new patient paperwork that need to be completed. After we have received your benefit information, Gail will call to gather information on your benefits. She will call you back as soon as possible, before your appointment, to discuss the cost of your care. Every patient has different benefits; therefore there is no set cost. If you are not billing to insurance, let Gail know and she will speak with you regarding cost.
Are you in-net work with my insurance company?
Your Houston TX chiropractor works with all insurance companies. When you call us we will ask you for your insurance information. At that point we will gather all of the details of your plan and then we can discuss your coverage and how it will fit into your chiropractic care plan
Will my chiropractic treatment hurt?
Yes, if you do not pay your bill (haha). On a serious note, NO, your chiropractic treatment will not hurt. Chiropractic care is very safe, comfortable, computer-aided, and consistent. We will do all that we can to make sure you are comfortable and love every visit you have with us.
Do you work with medical doctors?
Yes, Houston Health & Wellness has a medical doctor on staff. We are a full service Chiropractic Care facility utilizing the following services to help you reach your optimal health:
- Chiropractic
- Physical therapy
- Rehab
- Weight loss program
- Wellness program

How much time will it take for my first visit?
The average first-time visit is an hour. The purpose of your first visit is to gather the information we need to answer the questions that most patients want to know: what’s wrong, can we help you, how long will it take to get well, what will it cost. If for some strange reason, we can’t help, Dr. Michiel Rorick will refer you to someone who can, so you do not have to doctor hop.
Will I get adjusted on the first visit?
Your first visit is intended to get to know you and the problems you are experiencing. We do not perform chiropractic adjustments or any of our services on this visit. It is important that we take the time to fully analyze the information we gather so a proper diagnosis can be made. Once that is done, decisions can be made as far as what treatment would work best for you.
Will I need x-rays?
Yes, you will need x-rays. X-rays are an important piece of the examination process. We do not want to guess about your health, we want to have all the information at our hands to crate a specific treatment plan for your optimum health. We take state-of-the-art digital x-rays in office.
